This event is part of the series of events “Tune up for a scale up” by Tehnopol Startup Incubator and Mikaels Labs. We'll have 3 free virtual and case-based webinars about three crucial ways to gear your organisation for growth.

#1 (17.11): The art of deciding: seeking for a win-win in tech vs business
#2 (24.11): The power of structure: PM as a sub-task vs a strategic role
#3 (1.12): The magic of mindset: gearing the company culture towards people and growth

All three webinars focus on each topics by bringing real-life cases by the panelists into the spotlight. How did they deal with difficult decisions? Where did these choices lead? What is there to learn?

First webinar, on the 17th of November, will focus on the CTO and CEO point of view. What to do when business and tech needs don’t match? We'll dive deep into the actionable decision-making paths, problem-solving strategies, consequences and choosing the less bad option, if both are risky.

3 speakers will present their cases after what the panelists gather on a virtual floor for a panel discussion. Honest, insightful and to the point. The conversation host is Owais Afaq, CEO of Mikaels Labs, who has been a software developer, CTO and now, being a CEO himself, knows the importance of making the right decisions all too well.

Speakers:
Leonardo Romanello is founder and CTO of the fast-growing startup Promoty, which solves the inefficiency in influencer marketing. He has a strong deep tech and cybersecurity background with over 10 years of experience in software development. In his talk he will focus on the importance of a good relationship between the founders and tech person, since he's topic for the webinar is "Focus on what matters: why having a cofounder is like having a girlfriend."

Priit Matiisen, CTO and co-founder of Scoro, the most comprehensive business management solution, where everything you need to know and do is within a click's reach. Since Priit has been there since the beginning, he sure knows how the relationship between the business and tech side should work. And isn’t growing fast and successful the dream of all of us?

Ragmar Saksing is definitely very interesting and versatile person. While being the Green Tech Manager at Tehnopol, he definitely has his heart to technology since he is also CTO at Protribe and Fututec. In his today's presentation, he'll share his thoughts on whether to buy in or build it yourself in your startup. This has to be think through since too good technology is expensive, but too bad technology is also costly and you need to find a balance between them.

Event is free but needs your registration.
