Tallinn City Museum will take you on a tram ride into history. You can look out the window of the tram and listen to the guide’s stories about Tallinn's past, present and future.

The History Tram is a special initiative in which guides introduce passengers to the story of Tallinn that unfolds behind the tram window on the Kadriorg-Kopli-Kadriorg route.

The tram tours depart from the separate tram branch close to Café Katharinenthal at set times - follow the signs.

The tram is a traditional, dignified and environmentally friendly means of transport. The history of trams in Tallinn dates to 1888. It was then that the city's first horse-drawn tram line began operating on the route Vanaturu Kael - Kadriorg.

NB! We kindly ask not to make group reservations. Please notice that tram tours are not suitable for young children.

The tram tour was created in cooperation with the Tallinn City Museum, Tallinn Transport Department, the Culture and Sports Department and the Tallinn City Government.

The trip on the Kadriorg – Kopli – Kadriorg route takes approximately 1.5 hours. The tram runs non-stop. Please be there 15 minutes before the tour starts! Guided tram tour – Kadriorg-Kopli-Kadriorg.
