Welcome to the official side event of New Nordics AI Week on the groundbreaking EU AI Act, with a special focus on the critical intersection of AI and cybersecurity.
The EU AI Act is the first comprehensive AI regulation in the world, this legislation aims to ensure that AI technologies are developed and used responsibly, balancing innovation with the protection of fundamental rights.
Our focus today is on the cybersecurity aspects of AI, an area of growing importance as AI systems become increasingly integrated into critical infrastructure, finance, healthcare, and more.
There are two leading experts on stage to discuss these critical topics.
◦ Toomas Seppel, a Partner and Attorney at Law from Hedman Law Firm, will provide insights into the legal implications of the EU AI Act and what tech product founders and developers need to grasp about the new AI regulation and how the AI Act will impact the development of AI products.
◦ Sandhra-Mirella Valdma from Cybernetica will present on the cybersecurity challenges and solutions in the AI domain.
After their presentations, Otto Mättas will moderate a Q&A session, where all onsite participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and engage directly with our experts.
