Do you know about “Bento (弁当)”?

Bento is also a part of Japanese food culture and you can imagine a lunch box, beautifully packed meal in the box.
There are various types and styles of bento in Japan, from traditional ones to character one (Chara-ben), including those that value the sense of the season.
Especially in the spring time, we are going to hanami (花見) with bento and enjoy gathering and eating under the cherry blossoms.

Let’s learn about Japanese bento culture and make your own bento together!

*Please bring your own bento box (lunch box, food container etc)
and your own design or ideas for bento
*If you have any ingredients (or some molds to make shapes) can bring, please write down when you register.
You are welcome to bring for example…
rice / egg / sausage / vegetables (carrot, tomato, cucumber, broccoli, green leaves, herbs, mushroom, etc) various colors or shapes are welcome

The workshop will be held in English with a bit on Japanese!

Võta töötuppa tulles kaasa oma karp toidu jaoks, lisaks pane registreerides kirja ka, millised toiduained kaasa võtad, arvestades, mida sa ise soovid süüa!
