“Feast from the East” is an Asian comedy extravaganza! Spend a spicy evening with your favourite Filipino, Chinese, and Singaporean comedians bringing their most exotic material to the stage.

You'll laugh through stories of casual racism, the mishaps of teaching English in Spanish schools, and what it really means to be Asian abroad. This show is packed with cultural misunderstandings, bold punchlines, and moments every new Madrileño will recognize.

• Teddy Teo is thirty-something year old Singaporean stand-up comedian based in Madrid. Not-quite fresh faced but still funny, her comedy brings a silly twist to Asian parents, expat culture, and living in a new city. She's active at Madrid Comedy Lab and really to anyone who'll listen to her yap.

• Isaac is a Madrid-based stand-up comedian whose comedy blends persona-driven humor with his anecdotal comedy style, taking on his life in Spain. He is an active performer at Madrid Comedy Lab and has performed in various venues and festivals.

• Kitty is a Chinese Canadian stand-up comedian. She uses wry humour to poke fun at casual racism, Asian family dynamics, and the immigrant experience. She has performed in Spain, Portugal, and Canada at shows with the Madrid Comedy Lab, Selva Comedy Cafe, Laughs in Queer, and Stand-Up Europe Festival. Kitty is excited to be part of an all-Asian showcase in the hopes of finally gaining her mother’s respect. Will she succeed? Only WeChat will tell.

  Due to high demand, our online tickets often sell out quickly. However, if you arrive at the venue right when we open, we may still have tickets available at the door.
