Estonian Reserve Officers’ Associations XXVII International Shooting Competition for the Commander of EDF Award

On September 13th, the traditional Estonian Reserve Officers’ Association International Shooting Competition will take place, for the Flag of the Commander of the Estonian Defense Forces.
This annual competition dates back to 1998.
The aim of the competition is to improve the shooting skills of reserve officers and to foster relationships between different agencies and allied forces.

Guidelines
Participation Fee €65 per participant (€260 per team).
The participation fee is non-refundable and includes: event organization, weapons, ammunition, catering at the shooting range, a formal closing ceremony, and awards.
Participants
Teams of 4 members from the Estonian Reserve Officers’ Association, Defence Forces, Defence League, Law Enforcement agencies and Allied Nations.
A total of 24 teams will be registered.
Accommodation
Hotel Ibis Tallinn Center (Juhkentali 28, Tallinn)
Room for single use 80 EUR / night
Room for double use 90 EUR / night.
In addition, the sauna room METS has been booked for the Icebreaker on 12.09.

Exercises
1. Rahe R 20 rifle 100 m, three positions (5+10+10+10)
2. Rahe R 20 rifle 200 m, prone (5+20+10)
3. H&K USP handgun 25 m (5+20+10)
4. Tactical shooting stage (for teams only). Combined weapons – smoothbore weapons, Rahe R 20 rifle, H&K USP, H&K MP 5.
5. Tactical shooting stage (for teams only). H&K USP & HK MP 5.

Individual competition
• three best in 100 m Rahe R 20 rifle
• three best in 200 m Rahe R 20 rifle
• three best in 25 m H&K USP handgun
• three best in overall (100 m, 200 m and 25 m) YOUNG ≤26*
• three best in overall (100 m, 200 m and 25 m) MEN*
• three best in overall (100 m, 200 m and 25 m) WOMEN*
• three best in overall (100 m, 200 m and 25 m) VETERANS 55+*
Team competition
• Three best international teams overall*
• Three best teams overall*
• Three best teams in tactical shooting*
Dress code
Combat uniform or similar. Ear and eye protection on site. Individual protection is allowed.
Schedule
Saturday 12.09
15:45 - 18:00 arrival and check-in
17:00 - Icebreaker in sauna room METS
Sunday 13.09
08:00 – Competition begins. The organising staff will commence shooting. Anyone interested is welcome to observe the shooting on site.
10:30 – Opening ceremony, safety briefing and formation. All competitors are requested to be present no later than 10:00 to allow sufficient time to prepare for the formation.
11:00 – Main competition shooting begins
13:30 – Approximate end of shooting
14:00–15:00 – Weapon maintenance. All competitors are requested to actively participate.
16:30 – Closing ceremony and banquet at the competition venue
Catering
Catering will be provided throughout the competition day:
08:00 – Coffee service opens
11:00–14:00 – Lunch, including traditional soldiers' soup
16:00 – Dinner service
