On April 27th, Tamara Natanovna Eidelman, a historian, lecturer, writer, educator, and author of a popular YouTube channel with an audience of over 1 million subscribers, will speak in New York. The theme of Tamara Eidelman's lecture is 'The Judgment of History.'

In New York, Tamara Eidelman will conduct a conversational-style meeting with the audience. The discussion will focus on one of the most pressing topics of our time: guilt and responsibility. Tamara Natanovna will talk about how this question has been addressed in different times and cultures. The audience is invited to discuss together whether collective responsibility exists or if it is a vestige of medieval views on the world. Throughout different eras and countries, people have tried to find answers to questions about who is responsible for atrocities, wars, and the killing of civilians. Is it the executioners themselves, or the propagandists, those who participated in the crimes, or those who remained silent? History provides many answers to these questions. Certainly, none of them is absolutely correct, but during her lecture, Tamara Eidelman will offer listeners an opportunity to explore how people in different times and epochs found answers to this question.

The lecture will be delivered in Russian.

The 'Judgment of History' lecture will take place on April 27th at 6:00 PM in the Opera House at the Emmaus Center in Brooklyn.
