On July 28 at 7:00 PM in Almaty, popularizer of cosmonautics Vitaliy Egorov (Zelenyikot) will give a lecture on 'Space Economics: who and how makes money out of vacuum.'

Who and how earns from space today? Where do the funds for private space companies come from and why can it be profitable?

During his lecture, Vitaliy Egorov will talk about the obvious and not-so-obvious economics of space exploration. You will learn how shares are distributed in the global space economy, what business models companies use to attract investments and profit from space, as well as the prospects that open up for private companies in this industry.

We will also discuss how modern private companies, such as SpaceX by Elon Musk, are reshaping the face of the global space economy.

We invite everyone interested in space, innovation, and economics to an exciting lecture about how the space economy is organized, how money is made from space today, and how it will be made in the future.

Vitaliy Egorov (Zelenyikot) - popularizer of cosmonautics, enthusiast of space research, blogger, journalist, public relations specialist, and popular science writer. Author of the YouTube channel 'Open Space of the Green Cat,' and author of popular science books 'Do Space' and 'People on the Moon: the Main Answers.' Multiple winner of awards for 'Fidelity to Science.' In the past: worked in the press services of several Russian private space companies. Currently lives in Montenegro.

The lecture will be held in Russian and is suitable for adults and children.
