A Cappella Concert in Narva
On 7 August, vocal ensemble REJOICE invites audiences to an atmospheric evening of music at Rugodiv Cultural Centre.
The programme ECHOES OF THE NORTH brings together Estonian folk music, legendary songs by The Beatles and ABBA, 20th-century American classics, and contemporary vocal arrangements. At first glance, these musical worlds may seem far apart, yet it is precisely this unexpected combination that lies at the heart of the ensemble’s new programme.
The entire soundscape is created using only the human voice.
In the intimate atmosphere of the historic hall, familiar melodies and northern folk motifs will be heard in a new light — close, sincere, and truly alive.
About the ensemble
REJOICE is a Tallinn-based a cappella vocal ensemble bringing together professional singers and musicians. The ensemble is a laureate of international competitions and performs in Estonia and abroad, creating original concert programmes in which a refined performance culture is combined with openness, emotional depth, and close attention to the audience.
The concert lasts approximately 60 minutes without an interval.
