“A Body To Dwell” is a participatory and multilingual performance that invites you to move, experience and notice. What if your house were a living body? The house and the body are spaces that inhabit and are inhabited. We spend this life with a body and a house, putting things into them and taking things out. What do you let in, and what do you let go of? “A Body To Dwell” is an evening in which we reposition ourselves within spaces.
The meeting point is the Tallinn Linnahall car park at 18:00, where the audience will be picked up by car and driven onwards – exactly where remains a surprise for now.
In addition to the performances, a special event, “A Body To Dwell: The Wandering Archive”, will take place on Tuesday, 22 September from 14:00–20:00 at Vaskjala Creative Residency. It is an opportunity to return to the world of “A Body To Dwell” – to wander at your own pace, linger and explore. Throughout the day, performative interventions will reflect on the themes of the performance and bring back some of its elements. You can also take part in a tour of the house and cellar. Your performance ticket also includes admission to the event on 22 September.

The house and the body are spaces that inhabit and are inhabited. A Body To Dwell is a night of rearranging oneself in these spaces.
