An a cappella concert in Tallinn Old Town
On 21 June, vocal ensemble REJOICE invites you to an atmospheric evening of music in the historic hall of Hopneri Maja.
In ECHOES OF THE NORTH, Estonian folk music, legendary songs by The Beatles and ABBA, 20th-century American classics and contemporary vocal arrangements meet in one programme. At first glance, these musical worlds may seem far apart, yet this unexpected combination is at the heart of the ensemble’s new programme.
The entire sound is created by human voices alone.
In the intimate atmosphere of a historic hall, familiar melodies and northern folk motifs take on a new sound — close, sincere and vividly alive.
About the ensemble
REJOICE is a Tallinn-based a cappella vocal ensemble bringing together professional singers and musicians. The ensemble is a laureate of international competitions and performs in Estonia and abroad, creating original concert programmes where academic vocal culture meets openness, emotional presence and a genuine attention to the listener.
The concert lasts approximately 60 minutes with no intermission.
