танцкласс

двухчасовое занятие современным танцем, которое ведёт хореограф таня чижикова.

это индивидуальная техника танца, основанная на ясных принципах движения, которые позволяют участникам трактовать и воплощать их своим собственным, уникальным способом.

внимание, любопытство, игра и воображение — которыми мы будем пользоваться во время движения, дают возможность напрямую соединиться с телом — не оценивая свой танец, а замечая его.

структура занятия:

первая часть — танцевальные практики
перерыв
вторая часть — импровизация

каждый класс посвящён отдельной теме. в первой части мы знакомимся с ней через движение и специально подобранные упражнения, а во второй — импровизируем, используя полученные навыки.

таня чижикова — хореограф, танцовщица и преподавательница танцевальных практик.

таня окончила московский хореографический лицей по специальности «артист балета» и московскую академию хореографии по специальности «хореограф». позже защитила магистерскую диссертацию в гитисе, посвящённую развитию современного танца в россии на рубеже xx–xxi веков.

её художественный фокус сосредоточен на хореографии, которая ближе к размышлению, чем к утверждению. такая хореография откликается на реальность, не предлагая однозначных ответов. источниками вдохновения часто становятся физика, философия, кино и повседневность. основными художественными принципами остаются минимализм и строгая форма.

работы тани были представлены в театрах и на фестивалях в россии, европе и сша, включая impulstanz (вена), movement research (нью-йорк), фестиваль net (москва), «золотая маска» (москва), forma (москва), hauptsache frei (lichthof theater, гамбург), limited edition (kampnagel, гамбург), antigel (женева), hellerau (дрезден) и voices (берлин).

dance class

a two-hour contemporary dance class led by choreographer tanya chizhikova.

this is an individual dance technique based on clear movement principles that allow each participant to interpret and embody them in their own unique way.

attention, curiosity, play, and imagination — which we will engage during movement — create a possibility to connect directly with the body, without judging the dance, but simply noticing it.

structure of the class:

first part — dance practices
break
second part — improvisation

each class is dedicated to a different theme. in the first part, we explore it through movement and specifically selected dance exercises. in the second part, we improvise using the tools developed in the first.

tanya chizhikova is a choreographer, dancer, and teacher of dance practices.

she is a recipient of the national theatre award golden mask (moscow, 2020) for developing a new artistic language in the performance “udarnitsa”.

winner of the [8:tension] young choreographers’ award at impulstanz (2019, vienna) with the work “from time to time”.

recipient of the barbara kisseler prize for the performance “odyssey. arrival”.

tanya graduated from the moscow choreographic lyceum as a ballet dancer and from the moscow state academy of choreography as a choreographer. she later completed a master’s degree at gitis, where she defended a thesis on the development of contemporary dance in russia at the turn of the 20th–21st centuries.

her artistic focus is on choreography that leans toward reflection rather than assertion. this type of choreography responds to reality through resonance rather than clear answers. frequent sources of inspiration include physics, philosophy, cinema, and everyday life. minimalism and strict form remain her core artistic principles.

her works have been presented in theatres and festivals across russia, europe, and the usa, including impulstanz (vienna), movement research (new york), net festival (moscow), golden mask festival, forma festival (moscow), hauptsache frei (lichthof theater, hamburg), limited edition (kampnagel, hamburg), antigel (geneva), hellerau (dresden), and voices (berlin).
