After an impressive renovation by Barnsley Council, the space now blends its original character with a sleek and contemporary look that feels genuinely exciting. It is vibrant, buzzing and ready for a night of top comedians, big energy and unstoppable laughter.

Brown Bear Comedy has built a reputation for unforgettable nights filled with atmosphere, excitement and top tier talent. We have been making serious noise across South Yorkshire and South Australia and now we are bringing that same buzz to Elsecar. This launch event is the beginning of a long term partnership between Elsecar Heritage Centre and Brown Bear Comedy, a partnership where the nights will grow, the crowds will grow and the laughs will grow every single time.
