You know him without words — quite literally. Boris Barsky, star of the legendary Maski-Show theatre and People's Artist of Ukraine, has been making us laugh on screen and on stage for decades. Now you have a rare chance to attend his anniversary evening.
On 6 November 2026, in the very heart of Helsinki, on the stage of Balder Sali (Aleksanterinkatu 12), the living legend of clownery steps out to meet the audience — no masks, no script. It is a live conversation with the audience that holds everything the artist can do: poetry and pantomime, lyrical songs and dance, magic tricks, and backstage stories from the Maski-Show tours that you won't hear anywhere else.
Barsky is a one-man orchestra: a comedian with the face of a tragedian, a mime who writes poetry, and a poet whose silence is funnier than other people's jokes. Every evening is created anew — out of the audience's questions, the mood, and improvisation. No two shows are ever alike.
