On May 23 and 24, 2026, Impact Hub Alameda (Calle de la Alameda, 22) will host the KNIGI.BLIZKO Russian Book Fair, a unique cultural event for all lovers of Russian literature and the vibrant culture of books.
For the first time, the fair will be held over two consecutive weekend days in a new venue in the heart of Madrid, next to Atocha station. More than 1,500 Russian titles will be presented: new releases from renowned authors, editions from independent publishers, literary prose, intellectual essays, children's literature, and much more.
The fair showcases the latest releases from leading independent Russian publishers—books virtually impossible to find in mainstream bookstores.
KNIGI.BLIZKO is not just a book fair, but also a space for meeting, debate, and lively conversation, now in its third year in the Spanish capital. The children's program, author signings, and lectures make the event an interesting outing for the whole family.
In addition to Russian publishers, the fair features leading European publishers of Russian-language books, such as Vidim Books, Freedom Letters, ISIA Verlag, Babel, Echo, Medusa, and One Book Publishing. The selection emphasizes the latest releases and uncensored classics. The books are presented in distinct thematic sections: nonfiction, adult fiction, comics, young adult, and books for children and families.
