August Dances at Anija Manor. One Evening. Two Performances.

On 8 August at 6:00 PM, Fine5 Dance Theatre and Anija Manor invite you to a special summer performance evening, where you can experience two distinctive contemporary dance productions in a single evening while discovering the unique atmosphere of the manor.

The evening begins with "Dinner", a site-specific performance that takes the audience on a journey through the manor house. Three women gather around a dining table—a place imbued with the meanings of togetherness, memory, and human connection. As the audience moves from room to room, stories unfold about meeting, sharing, and the invisible bonds that bring people together. Performed and choreographed by Vanessa Geniali, Annachiara Gallo, and Chiara Fiore (Italy).

The evening continues in the manor barn with "I.P. – Longing. Without Borders", inspired by Michael Ondaatje's novel The English Patient and the unique performance venue itself. It is a story of love and longing, the fragility of memory, and the passage of time—a poetic and intimate journey across boundaries, where past and present meet. Performed and choreographed by Tuuli Peremees and Simo Kruusement. Soundscape by Liisa Hirsch.

For one August evening, the manor house and its historic barn become stages where dance and architecture intertwine to create an unforgettable experience.
