Armenian Dance Master Class and Meet-Up with Barekamutyun Dancers

An Armenian folk dance master class and meet-and-greet with dancers of Armenia's Barekamutyun State Dance Ensemble.

Mashtots Sunday School is excited to host a special evening with dancers of Armenia's Barekamutyun State Dance Ensemble, one of Armenia's leading dance groups, founded in 1987 and known for performances across Armenia, Europe, the Middle East, and beyond.

Six of the ensemble's dancers - Valeri Hovhannisyan, Hamlet Gasparyan, Erik Davityan, Manvel Nalbandyan, Serzh Hakhverdyan, and Armen Zakaryan - will lead a hands-on master class in Armenian dance, followed by a relaxed meet-and-greet where you can talk with the dancers about their craft and life in the ensemble.

No prior dance experience is needed. Just bring comfortable clothing and a willingness to move. Open to all ages and levels.
