Merab dances in a Georgian national dance ensemble alongside his partner, Mary, and dreams of earning a place in the company's leading troupe. His life is turned upside down when the charismatic Irakli joins the ensemble, competing for the same coveted spot while also awakening unexpected feelings in Merab. Before long, Merab faces the life-changing decision to follow his heart and leave behind the conservative world in which he was raised, risking everything he has worked so hard to achieve.
