“RELATIVES” — A NEW UKRAINIAN COMEDY IN TARTU!
The Ukrainian comedy “Relatives” continues its journey across the Baltic States! Following its screening in Tallinn, the film is now coming to Tartu!
On October 31 at 15:00, the Ukrainian Film Club in Estonia invites you to Elektriteater in Tartu for a screening of “Relatives”, a new Ukrainian comedy from the creators of the popular film “NU MAM”.
A large Ukrainian family gathers to celebrate Grandma Nadia’s 80th birthday. But what begins as a joyful family celebration quickly turns into a hilarious battle over inheritance. While the birthday girl enjoys being the centre of attention, her children and grandchildren are already deciding who will inherit the family house.
Audiences can look forward to a witty and entertaining story about family relationships, rivalry, misunderstandings and reconciliation. Funny situations, unexpected twists and relatable characters remind us that even the biggest family arguments can leave room for love.
The cast features Halyna Kornieieva, Nazar Zadniprovskyi, Vira Kobzar, Oleksandr Yarema, Antonina Khyzhniak, Iryna Mak and other well-known Ukrainian actors.
