One begins with emotion, transforming subtle everyday feelings into physical expression.
One begins with movement itself, allowing the body and its physical language to lead the creative process.
One begins with thought — questioning the lines, names and categories through which we understand ourselves and the world around us.
Rather than searching for a single definition of contemporary dance, the evening places these different choreographic approaches side by side.
