Join Derby Young Professionals, in partnership with Bates Weston, for an afternoon of networking on the move! Our Netwalking event is the perfect opportunity to connect with like-minded professionals while enjoying a scenic countryside walk.

🚗 Parking: Free at the venue (car sharing encouraged due to limited space)
The Walk
We’ll be exploring the beautiful Milford, Makeney, and Mushroom Wood Circular route—an enjoyable 2-hour walk suitable for all skill levels. Expect stunning views, fresh air, and great conversation along the way!
Please wear appropriate footwear and clothing for walking across fields and uneven terrain, as conditions may be muddy.
Post-Walk Meal
After working up an appetite, we’ll gather at The Elephant and Peacock for a delicious Indian-inspired meal at 6:00 PM. The set menu includes:
Poppadoms (shared)
Two starters per person
Two curries, rice & naan (shared)
Curry options are:
Chicken Tikka
Railway lamb
Gobi Manchurian (VE)
