Guided Tour of the Exhibition “The Old Narva Model” (ENG)

Narva Art Gallery

We invite you to travel back in time and discover Narva as it was before World War II, strolling through the narrow streets of what was once one of Estonia’s most beautiful cities. The Old Narva Model offers a unique opportunity to explore all the pre-war buildings that no longer exist on today’s city map, admire the grandeur of the city’s historic churches, and appreciate Narva’s distinctive architectural identity, marked by a difficult yet fascinating history.

The scale model of Narva’s pre-war Old Town, created by Fyodor Shantsyn, was moved to the Narva Art Gallery in the spring of 2023.

The guided tours of the exhibition “The Old Narva Model” in Estonian will be led by exhibition curator Boris Medvezhnikov on 22 October and 19 November.
