Originally from Ukraine, Dima moved to Berlin nine years ago and immediately started doing stand-up in order not to lose his sense of humor while integrating into German society. After many years of trying to become German, Dima gave up on life and started doing comedy full-time because laughter is the only way he can cope with everything that’s happening in the world.

During his comedy career, Dima has performed in more than 20 countries, including renowned locations such as the Gotham Comedy Club in New York, the Comedy Store London, and the famous Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Dima was featured in The Guardian, Der Spiegel, Euronews, and a bunch of other media, which you probably haven’t heard about.

Living in three different countries and visiting over forty, Dima is no longer simply Ukrainian, but not quite European either. Stuck in this absurd cultural limbo, he finds laughter is his best coping mechanism.
