Saturday 17. August at 10:00 - 14:00
Taliesin Woodland, near Auchencairn
Trysting Trees is a series of theoretical and creative workshops based on trees commonly found in the UK and Ireland. The project is an ongoing inquiry into plant connection, through the lens of artists, gardeners and foragers. This Trysting Trees workshop will find us immersed in the magical community woodland of Taliesin. Come and join us as we explore some of the more unknown aspects of our local trees including their tree lore, medicinal qualities and creative potential.
During the workshop, we shall be foraging from the trees within Talisin to find plant material from which we can make creative materials. Participants will go home with a tree ink we have made together, as well many other goodies we make along the way.
Suitable for children and adults. Taliesin has a wheelchair accessible path and a wheelchair accessible compost toilet. If you have any questions regarding accessibility please do get in touch, we aim for our workshops to be as accessible as they can be. Please bring a packed lunch.
Full joining instructions will be sent to all attendees 48 hours before the event. Event delivered by the Old Mill Palnackie Team.
