Wednesday 14. August at 18:30 - 20:00
Muirdrochwood Forest, near Carsphairn
Trysting Trees is a series of theoretical and creative workshops based on trees commonly found in the UK and Ireland. The project is an ongoing inquiry into plant connection, through the lens of artists, gardeners and foragers. This Trysting Trees workshop will find us immersed in the beautiful community woodland of Muirdrochwood, Carsphairn.
Come and join us as we explore some of the more unknown aspects of our local trees including their tree lore, medicinal qualities and creative potential. During the workshop, we shall show what can be foraged from the trees within Muirdrochwood to find plant material from which creative materials can be made. Participants will go home with a tree ink we have made together, as well any other goodies we make along the way.
The event will be held in the Wildlife Hide at Muirdrochwood Community Forest, near Carsphairn. Suitable for children and adults. Please get in touch if you have any questions about accessibility.
Full joining instructions will be sent to all attendees 48 hours before the event. Event delivered by the Old Mill Palnackie Team.
