The End of the Word by Oscar Zemarti
Duration: approx. 90–120 minutes

Language: English-facilitated, all languages welcome in play.
The world is ending, and language is dying with it.
Words are being forgotten faster than anyone can speak them.
Each guest becomes the Gatekeeper of a handful of words,
chosen to be rescued from oblivion: words inherited from family,
from a mother tongue, from a childhood, and words that were
whispered, forbidden, or never said aloud — or just words
that mean so much we cannot let go.
About the facilitator:
Oscar Zemarti is a Peruvian filmmaker and transdisciplinary artist working across film, photography, poetry, theatre and participatory formats. His practice circles the same fire: memory, heritage, and the stories communities tell to survive.
