Online ticket sales has ended.

The feminist vaudeville blues band Kaisa Ling Thing will bring their fringe program "The Feminist's Handbook for Eastern Europe" which they've performed tens of times at fringe festivals in Edinburgh and Tallinn, to Tartu for two nights only in September!

On the 18th and 19th of September the town will see how fringe works: there will be flyering, busking, inviting people in from the street, tricks and tomfoolery.

The comedienne Sille-Kadri Simer will perform her solo comedy hour "Tourist Trapped" on both nights at 20:30 – create your own mini-fringe!

Come on, Tartu, let's try out fringeing!

Time: 19:00–19:45

A young woman born in independent, post-occupation Estonia sings of the Soviet residue that pollutes the minds of some of her fellow countrypersons and restrains feminist progress. The Kaisa Ling Thing paints a vaudevillian blues portrait of modern life on Russia's doorstep.

Kaisa Ling on vocals
Rene Paul on the piano and vocals
Co-written with librettist Scott Diel
