The Art of Light
You will be warmly welcomed by Rosa in her spacious Rosewindows Glass Studio, where you can immerse yourself in the colour and light of Stained Glass. You will experience a working artist's studio, where you will be introduced to the heritage of Stained Glass and how to keep this wonderful endangered craft alive.
And most exciting of all is that you will be able to make your own piece of Stained Glass to bring home. No prior experience is needed. You will learn all the steps of the process, taught to you by your Master-Crafts-woman, Rosa. There will be refreshments and a lunch from the Organic Cafe on site included in the day. You will work in a small group, with one-to one guidance. And at the end of the day you will see, there is nothing more satisfying than to hold up your piece into the light and realise that you were the one who made this!
