The Education and Youth Board invites parents to the Smarter Parenting Day event “The world is changing – let's learn together!”, because being a parent means continuous learning.
In a rapidly changing, digital, and increasingly multicultural society, parents face new questions and choices: how can we support a child's sense of belonging, mental well-being, and educational path in a more multicultural learning environment in a way that preserves trust and the joy of learning? How can parents maintain their own balance and energy in the process?
Throughout the day, renowned experts, parents, and young people themselves will take the stage to share both knowledge and real-life experiences. The event will be hosted by the beloved TV journalist Anu Välba.
Come listen, think along, and gather inspiration – because a parent doesn't have to figure everything out alone. Let's learn together!
We welcome parents whose children attend kindergarten or general education schools. Participation is free of charge.
The conference will be held in Estonian, with simultaneous interpretation available in English and Russian.
Registration is open until September 17 or until all spots are filled.
Smarter Parenting Day is organised by the Education and Youth Board and is co-funded by Switzerland to reduce economic and social disparities within the European Union.
