Swing 250! Tallinn Baseball Camp

Learn the fundamentals of baseball!

• Ages 3–4 (Sept 26/27): Introductory T‑ball focused on movement, coordination, and fun

• Ages 5–6 (Sept 26/27): T‑ball with soft‑ball throwing and catching fundamentals

• Ages 7–10 (Sept 19/20 & 26/27): Skill development and introduction to baseball rules and teamwork

• Ages 11–12 (Sept 19/20 & 26/27): Advanced techniques, strategy, and playing a full game by the final session

The older groups (7-12 year-olds) will meet for 3-hour camps on September 19/20 and 26/27 where they will be coached by the main project organizer Heidi Erbsen, who played softball through childhood and high school in the U.S, together with the coach and players of Estonia’s only baseball team the Kiili Panthers. Younger participants (3-6 year-olds) are also invited for an hour-long introduction to T-ball on September 26/27.

This camp will introduce age appropriate elements of the game in a fun and playful manner. The younger ones will use soft tees to bat off of, practice running around the bases, and training in throwing and catching. Older players (7-12) will learn the rules of the game and put them into play with a final camp game on September 27.

No equipment needed! Come as you are and dress for the weather.

Open to 20 participants per age group.

The camp is made possible due to the 2026 Citizen Diplomacy Action Fund award from the U.S. Department of State and implemented by IREX. The project’s primary goal is to use baseball as a welcoming platform to celebrate America’s 250th birthday while strengthening global connections among youth and families in Estonia, the U.S, and around the world through sports and community.

All donations made while registering for the event will go to local orphanages to support sports activities.
