On September 29th at 7:00 pm in Almaty, astronomer, candidate of physical and mathematical sciences, and author of "Unearthly Podcast" Vladimir Surdin will give a lecture on the topic "Mars, Musk, and Nuclear Missiles".

Mars is an incredibly interesting planet that may have extraterrestrial life and will someday become a new home for earthly life. Human travel to Mars is the nearest future of space exploration. What have robots encountered on Mars and what will humans encounter there? Who will send people to Mars and on what rockets? These questions are being answered today.

Vladimir Surdin is an astronomer, candidate of physical and mathematical sciences, associate professor at the Faculty of Physics of Moscow State University, senior researcher at the P.K. Sternberg State Astronomical Institute, science popularizer, author and editor of several dozen popular science books on astronomy and astrophysics, winner of the Belyaev Prize and the "Enlightener" award.

The lecture will take place in Almaty on September 29th at 7:00 pm at Smart Point, located at 280 Baizakova Street.

The lecture will be in Russian.
