About the Facilitators:

Giles Abbott became a professional storyteller in 2000 and a Voice Teacher in 2005 after sudden and severe, but not total, sight-loss in 1998 left him unable to read a book or see you face across a table. He says “I’ve come to see this as a gift as it has led directly to the life I now enjoy.”

Giles has won awards for his storytelling, touring nationally and internationally, teaches Voice in drama schools, universities and privately, and he has won gold medals for his Voice Over work. His book, “StoryMaker”, distils his years of storytelling and performance experience to teach parents, carers, teachers how to create captivating new stories for or with the young people in their care.
