Summer Festival Special

Our Summer Festival Special last year turned out to be a bit of a ‘landmark’ event, so we’re doing it again.
Rick Willings is well known in the Golden Years of the local folk scene and now fronts the popular covers band “Big Yellow Taxi”. His solo set is full of classic favourites.
Val Will is a classical violinist who has achieved the rare feat of ‘unrefining’ her technique to play in fine folk style across Celtic, Scandinavian and folk genres.
Bruce Knapp played at our first sell-out gig last year and now returns to accompany Val on guitar, mandolin and dobro very nicely indeed – a joy to the ears.
Sara & Martin, regulars on the South London folk scene, have long standing local connections and bring a fresh take to folk revival classics as well as more contemporary songs in the folk genre. Expect top notch fingerstyle guitar and vocal harmony.
Jon Wigg and friends will tie the show together and quite a show it will be too!
