Succulent Circus is a cabaret style show that mixes burlesque, circus and comedy. The show is hosted by Iceland's first professional drag icon Gógó Starr, and features the mother of the Icelandic burlesque scene, Miss Mokki, voluptuous hooper and burlesque dancer Bobbie Michelle and the circus studs Dan the Man and Mr. Tombastic. They promise a show that will have the audiences howling with laughter, ooh’s and aah’s.
The show has toured before and made a splash in Reykjavík, Copenhagen, Gothenburg, Stockholm and Helsinki. Miss Mokki has performed quite often in Tallinn before, in Heldeke! cabaret club. In 2023 she and Gógó Starr brought over GoGoGorgeous for the Tallinn Fringe with Mr. Gorgeous that was a highly acclaimed and sold out show.
The feathered fivesome is a part of the Kjallarakabarett, a regular late night show at the basement of Iceland’s National Theater that is a creme de la creme of the Icelandic variety scene. Succulent Circus is a show put together of their favorite acts where body positivity, guilty pleasures, karaoke hits and floor fillers serve as inspiration for an evening of equal decadence and debauchery.
