The movement workshop From Movement to Dance is intended for those who are interested in contemporary dance, who want to try something new, discover different movement techniques and expand their awareness of the dancing body. The workshop is open to everyone, regardless of previous dance or movement experience.
The workshop is based on improvisational movement, supervised and directed by choreographer and dancer Maria Solei Järvet. She graduated from the Copenhagen School of Contemporary Dance with a degree in dance art. She sees dance as an opportunity and space for discovery and freedom of expression. The music is chosen by singer, producer and DJ Maris Pihlap to create a rich, supportive and inspiring atmosphere for movement.
