Sõltumatu Tantsu Lava (STL) • Telliskivi 60a/9, 10412 Tallinn, Harjumaa, Estonia
The first Sõltumatu Tantsu Festival (STF) will take place on 26.09 – 05.10.2024 in Tallinn at Telliskivi Creative City and Sõltumatu Tantsu Lava (STL).
The Sõltumatu Tantsu Festival (STF) unites diverse dance communities and generations, exploring the complexities of being human through the language of dance. The program showcases the richness of contemporary dance, featuring performances from both internationally acclaimed and emerging choreographers, while introducing new aesthetics and formats.
STF highlights critical social issues such as burnout, beauty standards, aging, and reclaiming one’s heritage. The festival bridges technology with dance, blending tradition and modernity, the familiar with the unfamiliar. Ukrainian dance artists will take the stage and local dancers will speak up, reminding us that dance is not meant to linger in the background—it demands to break through, using the body to speak powerfully from the forefront.
THE FESTIVAL PASS INCLUDES 7 PERFORMANCES OF YOUR CHOICE
