KADRIORG SPRING - VIOLIN & PIANO DUO

Saturday 4. April at 20:00 - 21:00

Kadriorg Art Museum, Tallinn

You are warmly invited to a spring chamber concert where violin and piano come together in masterworks of Romanticism and the early 20th century.

Leonardo Pinto is a Brazilian violinist and conductor educated in Brazil and the United States, who has performed as a soloist and orchestral musician across South America, Europe, and the USA. He serves as Artistic Director and Principal Conductor of the Feso Pro Arte Orchestra in Teresópolis, Brazil.

Samuel Bezerra is a Franco-Brazilian pianist known for blending the French and Eastern European piano traditions. A graduate of the École Normale de Musique Alfred Cortot in Paris and holder of two master’s degrees from the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre, he is an award-winning artist who performs regularly across Europe and Brazil.

The program features works by Lili Boulanger, Edvard Grieg, Heitor Villa-Lobos, and César Franck.

The concert is part of duo's international tour and presents a thoughtfully curated program where French, Nordic, and Brazilian musical worlds meet. The repertoire unfolds as a journey through distinct sound landscapes: the delicate poetic sensitivity of Lili Boulanger, the Nordic lyricism of Edvard Grieg, the passionate rhythmic colors of Heitor Villa-Lobos, and the profound, dramatic romanticism of César Franck come together to form a unified and emotionally expansive musical experience, offering the audience both intimate moments and powerful climaxes.
