Wednesday 24. July at 16:30 - 19:00
Old Harbour Master's Office • Old Harbour Master's Office, DG9 7RF Stranraer, Dumfries and Galloway, United Kingdom
Please join us for a picnic on the shore at Stranraer to find out more about our very special coastal and marine environment. A chance to share your hopes and dreams for yourself and your community as we chat about Loch Ryan Oysters, the potential of your coastal habitat in the surrounding area to flourish and how to connect people more closely to the marine mysteries under the Loch Ryan and the sea.
Lets design together a future for our children and grandchildren which celebrates our relationship with our coast and marine environment.
Of course, we are hoping for a lovely sunny evening but just in case please come dressed for the weather with a blanket or coat to sit on.
Picnic provided by the SCAMP team. Looking forward to meeting you all.
Solway Coast and Marine Project is an initiative by the Dumfries and Galloway Council Environment Team supported by NatureScot in collaboration with the Scottish Government and in partnership with the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
