Tuesday 30. July at 16:30 - 19:00
Annan Harbour • Port Street 85, DG12 6BT Annan, Scotland, United Kingdom
Please join us for a walk, talk and picnic on the merse at Annan to find out more about our very special coastal and marine environment and all the opportunities there are for nature restoration.
This is a chance to share your hopes and dreams for yourself and your community as we chat about Annan’s unique Saltmarsh, the potential of your coastal habitat and the surrounding area to flourish and connect people more closely to the merse, the estuary and the Solway sea.
Lets design together a future for our children and grandchildren which celebrates our relationship with our merse, our coast, the estuary and marine environment. Helping nature restore and flourish in the future.
Of course, we are hoping for a lovely sunny evening but just in case please come dressed for the weather with a blanket or coat to sit on.
Picnic provided by the SCAMP team. Looking forward to meeting you all.
Solway Coast and Marine Project is an initiative by the Dumfries and Galloway Council Environment Team supported by NatureScot in collaboration with the Scottish Government and in partnership with the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
