What happens when you move abroad chasing adventure but end up collecting visas like Pokémon cards? In Passport Expired: Confessions of an Immigrant, I take you on a stand-up comedy journey through the absurdity of migration and the unexpected struggles of fitting in—whether as a nanny, in a student dorm, or living with strangers in the countryside.
From my childhood in the U.S., where I mastered the fine art of eating Frog Eye Salad, to my failed attempts at being a high-fashion nanny in Vienna (turns out 3-year-olds judge your outfits too), I bring sharp wit and self-deprecating humor to every misadventure.
This isn’t just another "foreigner abroad" story. It’s a deep dive into the ridiculous expectations of life in Europe from Emily in Paris fantasies to the harsh reality of forgetting your Vitamin D pills and realizing your Tinder feed consists entirely of cows.
Join me for a night of laughter, brutal honesty, and the occasional existential crisis as I unpack what it means to be an immigrant when your most precious possession is a little book filled with little stamps.
Expect quirky humor, unexpected twists, and just enough self-awareness to make you question your own life choices.
