From Bizet to Piazzolla, from Bolero to tango!
Bolero is an evening where music quite literally breathes rhythm. Bizet’s “Habanera” from the opera Carmen, Ravel’s Bolero, the tender Adagio from the Concierto de Aranjuez, Piazzolla’s tangos, and the explosive Danzón No. 2 — melodies recognizable from the very first notes, yet revealing themselves anew each time. Music that seems to dance, lead, and transform before the listener’s eyes.
The sound of organ, strings, harp, and percussion will create the effect of a full orchestra while preserving the intimate atmosphere of chamber music, where every detail can be heard. And, of course, the special setting — the Neo-Gothic vaults of St. Paul’s Church, candlelight, and visual elements — will create everything that turns a concert into a true event.
