ESA BIC Estonia pre-incubation bootcamp

The ESA BIC Estonia pre-incubation bootcamp will take place in Pärnu, Estonia, from 25–27 August 2026. This three-day intensive programme is designed for early-stage teams, researchers, students, engineers and first-time founders who want to develop a space-related business idea and prepare for applying to the ESA BIC incubation programme.

The bootcamp is suitable for participants who have an idea related to space technology, space data or space-enabled applications, but may not yet be ready to join the full incubation programme. A registered legal entity is not required to apply.

Over three days, participants will explore market opportunities in the space sector, customer needs, business model and value proposition development, pricing, sales cycles, intellectual property strategy and the application process for the ESA BIC incubation programme. Participants will work on their ideas with support from mentors, meet companies from the ESA BIC Estonia portfolio and present their ideas to experts for feedback at the end of the programme.

The programme covers areas such as Earth observation, satellite communications, navigation and GNSS solutions, space transportation, space situational awareness, in-orbit services, robotics and autonomous systems, climate and sustainability solutions, dual-use technologies and digital infrastructure.

Individuals and teams of up to 3–4 members are welcome to apply. Applicants should have a space-related or space-enabled idea and a clear motivation to take part in all three days of the bootcamp. Teams will be selected based on the idea’s connection to the space sector, clarity of the problem, business potential and team motivation.

The bootcamp is organised by ESA BIC Estonia, Sparkup Tartu Science Park and Tehnopol.
