Rosh Hashana is the Day of Judgment, when God, the King, evaluates our past year.
But He’s also our Father—merciful and infinitely forgiving—so we celebrate with confidence that He’ll grant us a sweet new year.
And what better way to do that than by coming together, showing love and unity?
So yes, we’ll have the Yom Tov challah dipped in honey, fish, meats, and wine, knowing our togetherness brings our Father joy and strengthens our blessing.
