Romula ja Julia
A remake of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet using giant trucks instead of actors.
A tragedy of motors played out on a junkyard with the picturesque backdrop of a sand quarry.
A language- and child-friendly performance.
The authors, Kinoteater, are an award-winning (well, at least nominated, sometimes) Estonian independent theatre, known for its experimental theatre style that often takes the audience outside normal confines.
Performances on July 29, 30, 31 and August 1, 2, 3.
All performances take place at Rummu quarry, 45-minute drive south-west from Tallinn. Weather permitting we suggest arriving early and having a look around the lake resort.
