The crystal airy sound of the hammered clavicimbalum, the prototype of the modern piano, gives modern music a special flavor, a new meaning, as if creating a bridge, an arch between the enduring beauty of the past and the harmonies of modern neoclassicism appealing to it.

Alexander Starkov is a multi-instrumentalist and improviser, inventor and creator of many unique musical instruments, who has years of active concert activity behind him as the creator and ideological leader of the medieval music group Flos Florum, as well as the futuristic sounding pyramid project Stellarium Mystery.
In addition to collaborating with musicians of his own projects, Alexander actively interacted with such renowned musicians as Nazar Kozhukhar, Alexey Lyubimov, Mark Pekarsky, Taras Baginets, Evgenia Kamyanskaya, Peter Aidu, Maxim Yemelyanychev, Ivan Velikanov. He participated in the recording of Theodor Currentzis' album.
To realize the idea of his solo project, Alexander, originally a pianist by training, abandoned the use of a conventional modern piano, creating for himself a keyboard instrument based on his own design. In fact, this small "proto-piano", although it was built with a focus on Renaissance aesthetics, is nevertheless a unique invention of its kind, both in terms of design and sound. The embodiment of a deeply individual "vision" and "hearing" of music by its creator.
Thanks to the unique sound and original interpretations, not only the music of the distant past, but also of later eras, from Eric Satie and the French Impressionists to modern minimalism and film music, began to play with completely new colors under the master's fingers.
