Inseparable musician friends Abel and Bach decided to become co-tenants when looking for a rental apartment in London. Likewise, the friends co-founded the first concert series in England which, having gained unprecedented popularity, continued for 22 years. Even after his beloved friend Bach had passed away, Abel decided to carry on by himself. The listeners were presented with contemporary compositions, also written by the two main characters themselves. This program by Reet Sukk and Reinut Tepp is a celebration of Abel and Bach's music for flute and harpsichord - harpsichord sonatas with flute accompaniment, and vice versa, complemented by harpsichord solo pieces.
The early music studio Cantores Vagantes was founded in 1989. It includes musicians with a desire to interpret Early Music on copies of original instruments, while respecting historically informed performance practice. The membership of the studio is not strictly fixed - it can be seen as a flexible circle of friends, fitted to match the demands of the music.
