The Buena Vista University Concert Band, Concert Choir, and Vista Chamber Singers hail from Buena Vista University in Storm Lake, Iowa. BVU's mission is to prepare students for lifelong success through transformational academic, professional, and co-curricular programs. BVU musicians live out this mission daily, believing in the transformative power of music to uplift and inspire. The members of BVU Music ensembles are undergraduate students aged 18 to 22, representing various academic majors from across the Midwestern United States.
Concert Theme: "Music in the Air – Celebrating American Music in the Baltics"
The concert program features American folk and gospel music, African American spirituals, popular songs, and classical repertoire from around the world.
