MAISON SHIFT, Zürich

From design to finished piece with Guya Marini from Ikou Tschüss. Design your own scarf from the first idea to the final concept. Whether using collage or color, you’ll develop your design freely, step by step, on paper.

In this workshop with Guya Marini, co-founder of Ikou Tschüss, you will create your own scarf from the initial idea to the final design. Whether using collage or paint, you will freely develop your design step by step on paper.

The focus is on an open, experimental approach to creation. You will work exploratively with different materials, textures, and colors, developing your own visual world.

In the next step, your design will be digitized and refined by a graphic designer. Your finished design will then be transferred onto high-quality silk in a traditional silk printing workshop in Como and hand-rolled. The family-run business is known for careful craftsmanship, sustainable production, and high quality. Once your scarf is ready, it will be sent to you by mail.

Tip: If you want to edit your sketch digitally, please bring your own computer. If you plan to work with your own images, bring them in high resolution.
