Please arrive to the screening 10 minutes before the beginning or the reservation will be released.
Puutarhapiha, Lapinlahden Lähde, Helsinki
The story of the film Princess is based on true events and a real person.
Cabaret dancer Anna Lappalainen (Katja Küttner), who has been bounced from foster home to another, ends up in a mental hospital. It soon becomes clear to the staff and other patients that Lappalainen is suffering from a strong delusion. She claims to be a princess, a royal from Buckingham Palace.
Inspired by Lappalainen's life, the film tells a touching story of an individual who was labeled sick by society, but who won the hearts of those around her and healed her environment with her lovable personality.
