Join us for our second Preachers' Overnighter, organised by the Norfolk Gospel Partnership (NGP) and Suffolk Gospel Partnership (SGP).
It's an opportunity to spend 24 hours with gospel workers from across Norfolk and Suffolk, enjoying excellent Bible teaching, encouragement in our preaching ministries, and plenty of time to laugh, chat, and pray together.
We're delighted to be joined by Andrew Sach, who will help us understand and preach the book of 1 Kings.
Everyone talks about "the kingdom", but do we really know what we mean? There are many different ideas about God's kingdom, and some of them are simply off the mark. As we explore 1 Kings together, we'll see what God teaches us about the nature of his kingdom, strengthening our hearts and equipping us to preach this rich and often neglected part of Scripture to our congregations.
Alongside Andrew's sessions, we'll spend time in small groups, listening to a recent sermon from another preacher and offering constructive feedback and encouragement.
Whether you regularly preach on Sundays, lead Bible studies, teach young people, or serve in another teaching ministry, you are very welcome.
About Andrew
Andrew Sach is a part-time teacher at the Cornhill Bible Training Course and Co-Pastor of Grace Church Greenwich. He lives on the Prime Meridian, which famously passes through his living room. A regular speaker at university missions in the UK and overseas, Andrew has co-authored a number of books, including the Dig Deeper series, Pierced for Our Transgressions, and Are You 100% Sure You Want to Be an Agnostic?
He is a coffee connoisseur, amateur pianist, and part-time custodian of Gustave, a hyperactive cocker spaniel. He has also produced a number of quirky films, available at www.digdeeper.tools.
